This very detailed pendant is in the form a brass turtle with the image of the monk Luang Poo Liu on it's back.
It comes from the Wat Rai Taeng Tong temple in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. It is believed to bring luck to its carrier.
I really like that the carvings on this amulet are very detailed. From the turtles face, mouth, eyes, to the tiny monks face, mouth,nose and eyes.
The symbols on it are traditional Buddhist prayer symbols including the Unalome symbol.
This little turtle is very beautiful in the light and feels very nice and calming to hold in your hand. The detailed symbols are very magical! :)
It can also be used as a beautiful center piece for artistic, unique art projects or encased in a clear cover that can be worn as a pendant.
